Ordering Information

The first step is to find your picture. Near the bottom of my home page are different categories, like "Horse Shows" and "Events" (dance pictures will be in Events). The categories contain galleries, and possibly sub-categories that further divide the pictures from that day into several smaller galleries.

Once you are in a photo gallery, click on the thumbnails on the left to select the picture that you want. Don't forget to look at all the pages of thumbnails!

Over each picture is a "buy: this photo" button. Click on it to add that picture to your shopping cart. Keep on adding pictures to your cart until you have added all that you want. If you don't see the buy button then I have not turned on ordering for that gallery. Please give me a call to inquire about ordering them.

When you are done adding pictures, click on the "view cart" button.

Now you will select the print sizes. For each picture, choose from the left drop-down either "Standard Prints" or "Photo Gifts" (T-shirts, mugs, etc.). Then from the right drop-down, choose the exact size and finish that you want for that picture. The prices will be listed here.

At the same time, you can choose from three different finishes for each picture. Glossy and Matte are the same price, and Lustre is slightly more (but worth it). Lustre and Matte resist fingerprints better than Glossy, and look especially good on larger print sizes.

It is very important that you pay attention to cropping when selecting a print size, and especially photo gifts! Nearly all of the pictures have a height to width ratio of 2 to 3. This means that they fit perfectly 4x6, 8x12 and 20x30 prints. However, 5x7, 8x10 and many of the photo gifts are more square, and the picture will be cropped when it is printed in these sizes.

After selecting the print size, always look at the thumbnail in the shopping cart. If you see any red lines, the picture will be cropped to those lines. Check and be sure that it is not cutting off anything important in the picture. If you need to you can click on the "adjust" button to adjust exactly what parts get removed, or you can choose the "no-crop" option which will print all of your picture, but will add white lines to the sides of it.

Finally, click on the "Next" button and follow the instructions to pay by credit card. Your pictures will be printed at a pro photo printing lab in Georgia and shipped directly to your home. I don't use an inkjet printer! The original, high resolution digital image that I captured with professional grade Canon equipment will be used for your print. The images on this website are of a much lower resolution that is only suitable for web use.
